I got an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Princeton, and an M.S. in Computer Science from MIT, and I still count on my fingers. I assume it's because I skipped first and second grade so just never learned the addition tables. But I get all nervous when I have to add numbers like 5 + 8 together and people are watching.
